Introduction

Hey I'm A. I'm 18. I'm a student at Edinburgh College currently studying AV tech. I'm a massive fan of film and TV and really want to be a part of this industry in anyway I can. I enjoy video editing, script writing, camera work, audio mixing, and directing. I hope to get a job somehwere in the media industry following my education, fingers crossed lol ;P

Hobbies

I have a variety of hobbies! From paying guitar too making video games, I love all things creative. While not currently working on anything I have been learning RPG Maker MV, a tool I hope to work very closely with in the future. I also love playing games, I have been slowly building up my steam library you can check out my profile HERE!
I used to be a massive computer science Nerd but I haven't coded much recently, hoping RPG Maker and this website will help bring back that love for writing scripts that I used to have so deeply.

Fave Films and TV

I talked a little a bit about my love for film and tv earlier so now I will reitarate on that with a list and review of some of my favourite all time films and shows! (This isn't everything I would recommend and I will create a page going over these and other films and shows that I love later in more detail, but these are defiently some good ones worth checking out) I hope you will either agree with me or if you disagree with me at least see where I'm coming from with these movies and shows ;P (this is in no perticular order)

  • PEEP SHOW
  • Peep show is 100 perecent my favourite show of all time. Not only does its dry british humour never fail to make me laugh I also find myself engaged and curious about the extended world of peep show. Mark and Jeremies Characters are hilarious together and make the show super funny to watch. I find myself somehow both rooting for them and also rooting for their downfall at the same time. The whole plot with Mark and Sophie was nothing more than hilariously depressing. I definetely recommend this show to anyone that likes weird british comedies. A total classic.

  • SPACED
  • Spaced is a master class in how to use pop culture refrences to make a genuinely hilarious tv show. I discovered space while watching some random video essay and I'm so glad I watched that video essay beause the show I discovered was amazing. I have the DVD box set of both seasons and while it is only small it packs a powerful punch. I love all the characters especially tim and Daisy whos platonic chemistry is both hilarious and sweet to watch. There is a delightful cast of side characters aswell. Definetly worth the watch and can be easily bindged in a day or two.

  • Blues Brothers
  • The Blues Brothers is a peice of 80s pop culture ripped perfectly out that era of film. A film I loved as a child and adore as an adult, it is one of the great musicals of all time, not just in my opinion but in the opinion of millions are the world. I adore blues brothers for it's charm and humour, its soundtrack is amazing and many scenes will have you rofling. I love the bar scene especially and after watching it you'll definetly not be getting that song out of your head. Watching Jay and Elwood somehow make everything worse for themsleves will never not be funny to me.

  • Stranger Than Fiction
  • Stranger than fiction is one the saddest comedy films I've ever watched. Despite having a Will Farrel of all people, an amazing comedy tallent, and the plot of the making of a great comedy this film made me cry far more than it made me laugh. Watching this alone or with someone else you are guaranteed to tear up. One of Will's more serious roles, the saddness comes from his characters relatability there is a little bit of Harold (Wills character) in all of us. A hopeless romantic that can't catch a break, and just as everything is getting good it all must come to an end. The ending is great however and if it had ended any other way I may have just straight up jumped from a rooftop. A must watch for any hopeless romantics, or people who just want a good cry.

My Music

Rather than do a top ten list (as I like such a diverse range of music) I'm simply going to embed my spotify liked songs playlist for you to have a look through lol. I hope you can find some music you like :P. Note this playlist has been slowly added too over the last 3ish years sooooo, not all the music is that great lol.

Book Recomendation

While I'm not much of a reader I have been reading a decent bit of manga recently! So heres a recommendation for you.
RAI RAI RAI, is a scifi comedy Manga thats first issue made me laugh like I haven't before. What would you do if you were given insane super powers after being abducted by aliens? Oh and the alien whos powers you took was still alive and following you around? Thats the question RAI RAI RAI asks and the answer is hilarious. I've only finished the first book but honestly so far so good!
